ABOUT ACADE

We built Acade to help students
make stronger academic work
their own.

Acade is an AI academic writing platform for undergraduate and master’s students—connecting sources, ideas, outlines, drafts, citations, and revisions around the same paper.

OUR STORY

Students told us the hardest part was not one tool. It was a scattered workflow.

Across our conversations with students, the same problem kept returning: writing the assignment, finding literature, and managing sources happened in separate places. Students had to move repeatedly between search tools, PDFs, notes, citation managers, and writing documents just to keep one paper moving.

For students still learning academic writing, that fragmentation made an already demanding process harder to understand. Sources became separated from notes, citations from claims, and assignment requirements from the draft. The work took longer not simply because students had more to write, but because they also had to learn how the entire research-and-writing process fit together.

Acade began with this student coursework writing scenario. We chose to serve undergraduate and master’s students first because they face frequent, overlapping course assignments while many are still developing the research, source-management, and academic-writing habits those assignments require.

We created Acade to keep that work connected—so students can spend less time moving information around and more time understanding sources, developing their own ideas, and improving what they write.

Not a tool that takes over the paper. A connected place that helps students move it forward.

WHY WE BUILT ACADE

One paper. One connected path forward.

Start with the task you need today, or continue through the same paper without losing the context you already built.

01

Understand the assignment

Turn a broad brief or early idea into a focused topic and a workable research question.

02

Find and understand sources

Search literature, read key papers, save notes, and keep the original source within reach.

03

Build a supported draft

Connect your outline, arguments, evidence, and citations as the paper takes shape.

04

Review before submission

Improve clarity, check citations and references, and review what still needs attention.

WHAT ACADE IS

An AI academic writing platform for students.

Acade helps undergraduate and master’s students research, write, cite, and refine course papers and research-based assignments in one connected workspace.

Students can begin with an assignment brief, a broad topic, or an existing draft. Acade helps them find a workable direction, organize sources and evidence, build an outline, develop a draft, manage citations, and review the paper before submission.

Advanced literature, research-design, and analysis tasks remain available as extensions of this academic writing workflow—not as a replacement for student judgment or specialist expertise.

WHO WE BUILD FOR

Students learning to turn research into writing.

01

Undergraduate students

Move from an assignment or broad topic to focused questions, useful sources, a clear outline, and a draft you can improve.

02

Master’s students

Keep literature, notes, arguments, evidence, and citations connected through longer research-based assignments.

EXTENDED USE

Advanced academic work

PhD candidates, educators, and researchers can also use Acade for literature and advanced research tasks. These capabilities extend the platform; they do not change its primary student focus.

RESPONSIBLE LITERATURE ACCESS

Broad coverage.
Clear boundaries.

400M+academic records30M+publicly downloadable resources

Acade’s literature discovery coverage includes scholarly records discoverable through sources such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and arXiv, together with other academic sources. These names describe coverage sources, not endorsements or partnerships.

Downloadable materials are available only where a full text or lawful download route is openly accessible, legally available, or properly authorized. PubMed itself is primarily a citations-and-abstracts resource and may link to full text hosted elsewhere; arXiv is an open research-sharing platform. Access varies by source, publisher, license, region, and individual record.

Coverage snapshot and counting method · . The 400M+ figure represents scholarly metadata records available for discovery in Acade after normalization and deduplication. Records with a DOI are matched primarily by DOI; records without a DOI are matched using normalized combinations of title, author information, publication year, venue, and other available identifiers. The 30M+ figure counts records for which Acade’s coverage snapshot identifies a publicly accessible full text or lawful download route at the time of review. It does not mean that every record is hosted by Acade or that access will remain available in every region. Source coverage overlaps, so figures are deduplicated rather than obtained by simply adding the published totals of Google Scholar, PubMed, arXiv, or other sources.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT AI

Useful assistance. Student responsibility.

01

Students remain the authors and decision-makers

Your ideas, choices, and final submission stay yours.

02

Sources should stay reviewable

AI should make evidence easier to inspect, not harder to trace.

03

Suggestions need judgment

You decide what to use and verify every claim and citation.

04

Integrity is part of the product

Use Acade in line with your course or university’s rules for AI.

OUR MISSION

Make academic writing easier to begin—and easier to make your own.

Help more undergraduate and master’s students learn how to work from a question, build evidence from sources, and express their own ideas in a clear, responsible academic paper.
